Yale’s inaugural University Ombudsperson, Dawn Osborne-Adams, will begin her appointment on September 1, 2026. As she transitions into this new role and works to establish the office, there will be a brief period during which visitor services are not yet available.
The Ombuds Office will be a confidential, independent, impartial, and informal resource for members of the Yale community seeking guidance, support, and assistance in navigating questions, concerns, and conflicts. Building this foundation thoughtfully will take time, and we appreciate your patience as the office becomes fully operational.
Additional information about the office, its services, and opportunities to meet with the ombudsperson will be shared here in the months following Dawn’s arrival on campus. She will look forward to welcoming visitors once the office is established and ready to serve the Yale community.
